Standard Real Estate Ltd is the main investment and development vehicle in the group of companies owned by Hamish Munro and Scott Campbell.
Hamish and Scott joined forces in 2011 initially setting up ELB Securities Ltd and now control a total of 12 property companies . Between them they have over 50 years experience in the UK and European commercial property markets.
The company seeks to buy and refurbish/redevelop all types of commercial property throughout the UK but with a preference for Scotland and the Midlands to north of England.

Founders Scott Campbell and Hamish Munro have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry spanning over 50 years in total.
Before setting up ELB Securities Ltd, Hamish ran his own private property company Briarhall Estates Ltd for 12 years following a highly successful period as an agent with Wilson Fotheringham, Griffin Webster, Munro & Co and latterly Montagu Evans. His agency and principal experience covered the retail, office, Industrial and licensed trade sectors.
Whilst Hamish retains Briarhall Estates Ltd as another investment vehicle Standard Real Estate Ltd and Wooton Rutley Ltd are now the primary vehicles for new purchases and developments.
Away from business Hamish is a devoted family man and is a keen runner with a number of marathons under his belt. To date he's been too shy to upload a photo!
Scott was director in charge of Jones Lang LaSalles Glasgow Investment team before leaving to set up ELB Securities Ltd. Scott spent almost 15 years with JLL the last 6 of which as a director of the Scottish Investment team. Before JLL he was part of the investment team at Ryden.
Scotts experience covers all sectors of the property market and includes high profile projects like the sale of Silverburn Shopping Centre, acquisition of St Enoch Shopping Centre, purchase of Skypark Glasgow and the funding of major office retail and industrial properties across Scotland.
Scotts interests away from business are first and foremost his two daughters followed by ticking off bucket list events which to date have included The Cresta Run, Pamplona Bull Run, Rafting the Zambezi, The Cannonball Run, Victoria Falls Bungee and the Olympic Bobsleigh.
